Compassion Amid the Confusion Keynote Address and Panel Discussion at St. Patrick’s Manor, October 2022.

Nancy J. Donovan, MD gave the Keynote Address at the annual Compassion Amid the Confusion conference, an annual educational event for professional caregivers, people with early stage dementia, and their families. Her presentation was entitled “A Framework for Understanding Social Isolation and Loneliness in Aging and Alzheimer’s Disease.” This was followed by a panel discussion with Mass General Brigham colleagues, Geriatric Psychologist Abby Altman PhD and Speech and Language Therapist R. Richard Sanders MS, CCC-SLP.
